Destiny Honey Bee Hive Art Contest Is All“The Buzz” In Osceola County
Osceola County’s Youth Created Colorful New Homes for Destiny’s Honeybees
Destiny, Florida, America’s first eco-sustainable city, held its first Honey Bee Hive Art Contest in Osceola County elementary and middle schools during the month of March. In an effort to educate Osceola County’s youth on the importance of honey bees each school was provided with a four-sided wooden bee hive box and had the freedom to be as creative as possible with the decoration. Paint, ribbons, string, beads, appliqué and stamping were a few of the tools children were encouraged to use.
